As another October wraps up the final weekend of the spookiest month of the year did not disappoint! Friday night’s “first time” performance in Kenosha WI was greeted by a welcoming crowd & resulted in the beginning of some fantastic new friendships; The following night’s festivities @ Chicago St. Pub were beyond expectations to say the least…one of the finest Halloween parties around seems to get better every year & a special thanks to the gang from the Pub as well as Vaudevileins(Radiohead) & Colonel Chloroform(Ween) for amazing performances & to the packed house for their enthusiasm during both the original set & the set of Elvis Costello songs! The upcoming month will see the momentum of the last year increasing as shows are set w/ poet Marty McConnell on 11/1 @ Funky Buddha Lounge in Chicago, a great night back @ Chicago St. Pub in Joliet IL on 11/2 w/ the amazing Magic Box, a return on 11/14 & 11/15 to the Annual Jeff Buckley tribute @ Uncommon Ground in Chicago, the weekly residency & open mic @ Tribes Alehouse in Mokena IL & a guest speaking & performance slot @ Purdue University @ the end of the month! There’s been a lot of planning over @ Flipside Works for the coming year as well,
including multiple East Coast trips, festival appearances around the country, the US return of our friend Mickey Harte, a limited special release & the possibility of a return trip to Ireland among other plans! Thanks for all the support & please continue to check back regularly for updates!
