The show @ Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music proved to be a great night on a number of levels. Opening up the show for the likes of Paul Brady, the setting of Maurer Hall, the hospitality of the entire staff, the amazing sound, the incredible crowd response (all singing along together as the set came to a close) and the kind & slightly overwhelming feedback & interaction afterward, were all the stuff of dreams! Paul Brady’s set thrilled the audience with inspired & beautifully intimate performances of some of the legendary songwriter’s most celebrated works, all presented w/ a kind of joyfully natural ease…a real master at work! Thanks to everyone involved in putting the evening together & to all who made the trip out. See you soon -JC
